Is this the right evaluation?
Who an ADHD evaluation can help
You may be noticing:
- Trouble starting, organizing or finishing tasks
- Distractibility, forgetfulness or losing track of time
- Strategies that used to work no longer do
- Difficulties that look different at home, school or work
- An ADHD diagnosis from years ago that was never looked at closely
If this sounds familiar, start with a conversation.

Our approach
More than a computerized attention test
No single measure can diagnose ADHD. The evaluation brings several sources together.
What the evaluation looks at
- Whether ADHD is the best explanation, or something else fits better
- Anxiety, mood, sleep, trauma and learning, which can all affect attention
- Executive functioning: planning, organization and working memory
- How difficulties show up across home, school and work

What you receive
Results you can act on.
What you’ll leave with
- A written report explaining how the findings fit together
- A diagnosis only where the findings support one
- Recommendations for home, school or work, and treatment
- A feedback session to talk it all through

Common questions
Before you call.
Yes. Adults are a substantial part of this service. Many adults seek an evaluation after years of managing, often when responsibilities increase and the strategies that used to work stop working, or after a diagnosis given quickly in adolescence that was never examined. Adult evaluations also frequently involve sorting ADHD from anxiety, depression, trauma and sleep difficulties, which can look similar from the outside.
Yes, from age 8 through adolescence. These evaluations usually include information from school as well as from home, because attention difficulties often present differently in the two settings and the difference itself is informative.
They can support a request. Haven can provide clinically appropriate documentation and recommendations for schools, college and graduate disability or accessibility offices, and professional and licensing examinations. Each institution applies its own criteria and makes its own decision, so no evaluation can guarantee that a particular accommodation will be approved.

Tell us what you are hoping to understand. A free 15-minute consultation is often enough to work out whether this evaluation is the right next step, or to point you toward something that fits better.
